Context

Recruitment in healthcare suffers from a chronic dispersion problem. Opportunities are scattered across generic job boards, message groups, and informal referrals, making it hard for a professional to find roles aligned with their specialty, and even harder for institutions to locate genuinely qualified candidates. The result is slow, manual, imprecise processes: roles that take too long to fill and talent that goes unnoticed. On top of that sits a layer no generic platform handles well: healthcare is a regulated sector, where every professional needs an active registration with a licensing council (CRM, COREN, CRP), and where the fit between candidate and role depends on specific criteria of specialty, education, and clinical experience. Talent Health came to us with exactly that pain. They wanted a platform that worked as a direct bridge between health professionals looking for opportunities and institutions looking for talent — with rich profiles, refined search, and an organized, trackable selection process, all designed for the reality of the sector.

Challenge

The hard part wasn't building a job board. It was building a platform that holds everything a generic one can't: two distinct journeys (candidate and institution) under one roof, automated validation against professional councils, specialty-aware matching, and a selection process visible end to end. Every shortcut would have broken the premise. Treat it like a generic board and the council validation, specialty logic, and clinical-experience criteria disappear. Bolt those rules on loosely and the experience turns into bureaucracy. The platform had to feel simple to use on the surface while encoding the sector's real logic underneath — and, because it handles sensitive professional data, stay secure and private by design.

Solution

We built Talent Health, a custom web platform that centralizes job posting, talent search, applications, and full selection-process tracking, with dedicated journeys for candidates and institutions. It runs on a React front-end and a Java + Spring Boot back-end over a relational database, with OAuth social login (Apple, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft) and automatic validation of each professional's council registration (CRM, COREN, CRP) through external APIs, removing one of the most labor-intensive checks in healthcare recruitment. Candidates build rich profiles by importing from LinkedIn, filling in manually, or uploading a résumé, while institutions manage their roles from a dedicated panel, including affirmative positions for specific groups. Refined filters and personalized recommendations connect each side to the right match, and every application moves through a visible, trackable pipeline (résumé review, interview, behavioral test) where recruiters log feedback, rank profiles, and release WhatsApp contact while candidates follow their status in real time. Built specifically for healthcare rather than as a generic job board, the platform encodes the real logic of the sector (clinical specialties, councils, experience levels, contract types), with security and privacy as a central requirement.
